Recipe | Spicy Tuna-stek

Kung marunong na kayo magluto ng bistek, I'm sure hindi niyo na kailangan ng recipe na ito. Pero para sa mga nag-aaral pa lang magluto at naghahanap ng alternative sa meat, isa ito sa madaling gawin.

Ingredients:

2 pcs  small Tuna/albacora steak
5 Kalamansi or 1/4 lemon
4-6 tbsps Soy sauce
White onions, sliced
1-2 pcs siling labuyo, hiwa yung gitna
Pepper to taste
1 cup water
VCO, canola oil or any oil you prefer


Procedure:

1. Marinate mo lang yung tuna sa soy sauce and mansi o lemon juice for 15-30 mins.

2. For healthier version, heat pan with virgin coconut oil under medium. Sweat onions until transluscent. Set aside.

3. Fry marinated fish. Wag itapon yung sauce o katas, set aside mo lang.

4. Once fried na yung both sides, sauté mo yung labuyo tapos ibuhos yung sauce, water, pepper, and onions. Let it simmer until magreduce to half yung liquid. Taste. Add sugar if needed.

5. Optional: garnish with chopped spring onions or onion leeks. Serve with rice.
