Life of a Stay/Work-At-Home Mom

There is a slight difference between a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) and a work-at-home mom (WAHM): more deadlines for the latter. But both types of moms share the same feelings of depression, loneliness, guilt, and happiness all at the same time.

Surprisingly, in this day and age, there are still a lot of us who chose to stay home!

Yes, it's true that being able to take care of your little one hands-on is precious while your other half provides for the family. But others seem to think that we can do anything because we have all the time in the world, well, they are wrong.
Some moms have this capacity to manage their time and still sprung up on a very gorgeous and calm demeanor. Well, that's because they have help even if they're SAHM/WAHM, and nothing's wrong with that (lucky mommies..hehe). Unlike some moms, they don't have help from family or friends because they chose to, or due to many other reasons that usually boils down to trust issues.

Eat Crispy Pata to Increase Milk Supply!

Yes, you read it right.  How I wish I knew about this way before! And where did I get this information?  I happen to get a notification from one of the closed mommy groups on Facebook.  Nagpost yung isang mommy na inadvise-an siya ng OB niya na kumain ng crispy pata to increase milk supply.  At ang resulta, totoo nga! Nakakaloka!

Tapos sabi pa sa isang comment, totoo nga daw yun kasi practice daw iyon sa Germany na kumain ng fatty, high protein dishes -- para nga daw magkagatas. It has something to do with fat, collagen, and protein. I haven't searched the science behind it. Will update this post if I'm able to do so.

Kaya naman pala tuwing kumakain kami sa labas ni AM at puro fried o oily foods ang nilalafang namin, lagi kong sinasabi sa kaniya na sumasakit dede ko, na parang nagpro-produce ng milk. Formula milk si Oyo since day one.  Similac noong una tapos nag-shift sa Nan Optipro.  Pero during the first few months, I really did everything to be able to increase my milk supply, hanggang sa natuyuan na ako.  Lahat talaga ti-nake at ginawa ko (at posibleng isa rin ito sa mga causes ng post partum depression ko).  At ang food ko non, wala masyadong fatty foods.

At dahil hindi pa ako nawawalan ng pag-asa magkaron ng breast milk, ngayon mas may rason akong kumain ng crispy pata, sinigang na baboy, sisig, liempo, bagnet, atbp! Hehehehe  Sana lang kung magkaron ako ng gatas, ite-take pa rin ni Oyo iyon :)

Pero laging tandaan, fed is best!

I-update ko kayo kung totoo bang magkaka-gatas ako kapag kumain ng rich in protein and fat foods. Let's put it to the test!
